2008 Show Information for Visitors
The 2008 Surrey
County Show will be held on Spring Bank Holiday Monday 26 May at Stoke Park,
Guildford.
Open from 9am to 6pm it promises to be a fun filled day out for
all the family.
Stoke Park is situated in Guildford
and is clearly signposted from all major routes, including the A3 and A31,
by the RAC. Parking at the showground is FREE and there are two 'park and
ride' car parks available at the Guildford Business Park (off the A3
Northbound) and the University of Surrey. See map

There is FREE parking at Cornhill
and UOP office sites off Ladymead (see RAC Signs).
A bus service will be available
from Guildford Train and Bus Stations, 50p single, £1 return. Local bus
services do not run on the Bank Holiday.
London Road (Guildford) train
station is situated in Nightingale Road - two minutes walk from the Show
ground, on the Guildford via Cobham line from Waterloo. Cross over the foot
bridge to Nightingale Road (from the London direction).
Dogs on leads are welcome at the
Show and there is a small Companion Dog Show which takes place in the
Countryside area at 2:00 pm, plus musical mats for dogs with Battersea Dogs
and Cats Home
during the morning.
SPECIAL OFFER The first 100 cyclists
arriving at the Nightingale Road entrance on a bicycle enter at half price.
This offer is not available on tickets purchased in advance, only on the
day, with a bicycle.
