Trade Stand Forms are available now for the 2008 Surrey
County Show, Monday 26th May and for the Country Fair and Ploughing Match,
Sunday 28th September 2008.
Every year, hundreds of businesses take the opportunity
to reach an audience of more than 40,000 potential customers and clients
over what is, for many, their busiest single day's trading.
The event is the Surrey County Show - Britain's largest one-day agricultural
show and which for 2008 is on Bank Holiday Monday 26th May at Stoke Park,
Guildford. "It's the busiest pitch in the country and with
good road access via the A3 and M25, it's right on the doorstep for many
firms in Surrey and North East Hants," "Shows such as ours provide a rare
opportunity to reach a huge number of people, many of whom would never
otherwise come into contact with a company's product or services. That's
particularly the case if your business deals mainly by post or you are some
way off the beaten track."
Last year more than 600
organisations and businesses attended the Show. The only endorsement needed
to prove the commercial value of having a stand at the Show is that the
majority of these organisations return year after year.
The official closing date for booking trade space for
the County Show is 28th
February and as space is selling fast, early application is advised. Please
contact us giving your full name and address together with details of what
you do, and an exhibitors' information pack and application form will be
sent to you. In addition we will be running the successful
Country Fair with our Ploughing Match once again at Loseley Park. Recently
(we attract around 10,000 visitors and it was a truly rural day out. We
have a magnificent grass field site in front of the stately home and this
event promises to be even more successful this year. Closing date for
entries for this show is 31st July.
Trade stand Space is
available as open space, shedding, shopping arcade, food hall or flower
show. There are different forms dependent on your requirement. The food hall
and flower show information is together on one form; open space, shedding
and shopping arcade on another. Details and prices of space are available
online, but to apply for space you need to order a trade stand pack. This
